Nude Beaches in Argentina

Argentina has a small but growing naturist community, with few official nude beaches. The most well-known is Playa Escondida near Mar del Plata, the country’s only officially recognized clothing-optional beach. A few other unofficial spots exist, often managed by naturist groups or used discreetly.

Public nudity is generally not legal outside designated areas, so naturist activity is limited and low-profile. Facilities are basic, and naturism is still a niche practice compared to countries like France or Germany. However, interest is increasing, especially near major cities and tourist areas.
